At present Silver Sea operates about ten
reefer vessels in the North Sea
and Baltic trade, and through
co-operation agreements, the
company has access to more than
100 reefer ships on the world
market. Silver Sea aims to be in
the optimum position to provide
the needed tonnage. Accordingly
the transportation market is a
separate field of competence.

the development of the reefer
market are crucial when it comes
to understanding the market. In
order to possess the tonnage
demanded by the customers, Silver
Sea needs to be in advance in
building long term relations with
strategic ship owners. Healthy
finances and thus flexibility are
very important factors when
operating vessels in this trade.
Since the establishment in year
2000, Silver Sea has shipped more
than 300 000 Mt per year, and the
operation has constantly been
profitable.
